Kenneth made his entry into the construction industry through his family-owned residential/commercial contracting business. Averaging $1.8 mil yearly in sales, this self-performing company gave opportunity to hone several trades and office skills. After acheiving advanced education in the field of Architecture and Civil Engineering Technology at Florida A&M University, Kenneth was able to expand his training once hired by Whiting-Turner Contracting Company as an Assistant Project Manager / Quality Control Manager then later transitioned to Assistant Superintendent. He worked in several capacities on 6 project sites ranging from hospitality, multifamily, to data center and restaurant construction.
